Standup Meetings with Remote Workers

I noticed that our team in India were not able to attend ad-hoc meetings that we have in public areas of the office, particularly stand up meetings

While what I really wanted was a teleprescence robot, I’ve put in a budget version to see how it works out - a Google Nexus 7 and a Jabra Bluetooth Conference Speaker on a music stand hooked up to a powered USB hub for charging the batteries.  Total cost is less than £300.

There’s good sound quality via the Jabra speaker, but the people at the other side don’t get to wheel themselves around.
